Sarah had the distinct pleasure of attending the 77th Creative Arts Emmys with the editing team from Saturday Night Live 50: The Anniversary Special, who took home the prize for Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming (Segment)—the first Emmy win for editing in SNL history! The historic award was presented by SNL cast member, Mikey Day.

The evening was capped off with a celebration at the Governors Gala, where Sarah made her Emmy-winning husband wander around looking for Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. while she drank a Director’s Cut—possibly the best cocktail of her life.
