Sarah Swift is a Meisner-trained actor and writer, originally from Toronto, Ontario. She is a proud graduate of the William Esper Studio where she studied under the incomparable Bill Esper.

Sarah has appeared Off-Broadway, in films & television, and inhabited some of Shakespeare’s luminous leading ladies, such as Titania, Olivia, and Desdemona. She is known for playing Mrs. Kavanaugh opposite Matt Damon in the viral Cold Open sketch on Saturday Night Live, which to date has received over 33 million views on YouTube.

Upcoming: Her original play, “True Crime” will have its world premiere at the Chain Theatre Winter One-Act Festival in midtown Manhattan, February 2026. Past projects include the short film, “Bad Fences,” currently on the festival circuit, the Bob Dylan biopic, “A Complete Unknown” (dir. James Mangold) and the CBS drama, “FBI” (dir. Joanna Kerns).

Sarah strongly believes that more representation of natural aging is needed in the industry. She is passionate about creating dynamic female characters and telling their stories at all stages of life.
